Personal Information

Phillip was born and raised in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, attending Elliott County High School and graduating as Valedictorian of his class. He attended Morehead State University and earned a degree in Government before enrolling in the Northern Kentucky University Chase College of Law, graduating in 2011.

During law school, Phillip worked for Lexis Nexis and clerked for Chief Judge Sara Walter Combs of the Kentucky Court of Appeals. After graduation, Phillip returned home to Eastern Kentucky and joined Kirk Law Firm as an associate.

Phillip's practice is focused primarily on personal injury and Social Security. This includes car crashes, insurance losses, slip and falls, wrongful death, nursing home abuse and neglect and pharmaceutical errors. Phillip also practices criminal and domestic law.

Phillip secured his first seven-figure settlement less than two years after joining Kirk Law Firm, obtaining millions of dollars in recovery for his clients over just the last few years. He is licensed in Kentucky and West Virginia and a proud member of the Kentucky Justice Association and West Virginia Association for Justice. Phillip is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, the Best Attorneys of America and America’s Top 100 Attorneys.

Phillip spends his time away from work with his son. He is active in his community and local church.
